the Soviet invaders.
His wife, Nina (also on this photograph), daughters: Lida and Hala,
and son, Wiktor, deported on Apr. 13, 1940 to a "kolkhoz" in Bakhmut
(Krasnoarmeysky Raj., North-Kazakhstan Obl.) in the Kazakh SSR.
