NAZI-SOVIET FRIENDSHIP - August 23, 1939 and ...

POLAND - A TERRITORY OF NAZI AND SOVIET 'INTERESTS'
Undated German map carves Poland into 'Deutsches Interessengebiet' and 'Russisches Interessengebiet'. The Nazi term 'territory of interest' is as good a euphemism as the Soviet term 'territory for liberation' - the true meaning of both being an utterly ruthless invasion and occupation.
Map issued by one of the world's most prestigious publishing houses - F.A. Brockhaus (Kartographische Anstalt, Leipzig)
