DECREE OF THE PRESIDIUM OF THE SUPREME SOVIET OF THE USSR

"On the proclamation of martial law in some areas of the USSR"

On the basis of article 49 p. "p" of the Constitution of the USSR martial law to be proclaimed in the Arkhangelsk District, Belorussian SSR, Vologda District, Voronezh District, Ivanovo District, Karelo-Finnish SSR, Kalinin District, Krasnodar Krai, Crimean ASSR, Kursk District, Lithuanian SSR, Latvian SSR, City of Leningrad and Leningrad District, Moldavian SSR, Murmansk District, City of Moscow and Moscow District, Orel District, Rostov District, Ryazan District, Smolensk District, Tula District, Ukrainian SSR, Estonian SSR and Yaroslavl District.
